English Language Competence

English is the language of instruction and communication at the University. Accordingly, an applicant whose primary language is not English must demonstrate command of English sufficient to pursue graduate studies in the chosen field. Applicants normally will be required to achieve a minimum score of 7.0 on the International English LanguageTest System (IELTS - the academic NOT the general test) with a minimum of 6.5 in each section. The Test of English as a Foreign Language(TOEFL) may be used as an equivalent test provided a score of 93 or better is achieved with a minimum of 20 in each section (TOEFL-internet based exam), or TOEFL 580 and the Test of Written English(TWE) 5.0 (paper-based). All test scores are valid for a period of two years from the date of the test. Some graduate programs have higher English Language Proficiency requirements as described elsewhere in this Calendar.

Master of Information Technology (MIT) 硕士

Our Master of Information Technology (MIT) degree addresses the needs of industry and society in the IT area, providing students with the skills they will need to succeed in this demanding and ever evolving field. The Master’s degree consists of two programs: Network Technology (NET) and Digital Media (DM).

Those pursuing the NET program will cover the design, management and operation of computer networks. They will develop research skills through courses and a project framework. If your test scores are lower than our stated minimum but you otherwise meet admission requirements, you may be offered conditional admission provided you complete an ESL program. You have two options for language upgrading. The first is offered through the College of Continuing Education at Dalhousie University.

Option 1: The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program is offered at 3 levels: Foundation English, EAP 1 and EAP 2. Minimum entrance test scores depend on the course level and range between 3.5 – 6.0 IELTS / 30 – 84 TOEFL iBT. Placement testing can be done at Dalhousie. Courses range from 2 – 3 months up to 1 year. Each level includes speaking, listening, reading, writing, pronunciation and vocabulary development.

Successful completion of EAP Level 2 with a 3.0 GPA for undergraduate programs and 3.7 GPA for most grauduate programs meets the English proficiency requirements at Dalhousie University.

众所周知，加拿大留学热门专业众多，那么如何选择适合自己的留学专业就显得颇为重要。建议大家在选择适合的留学专业之前，一定要了解这个专业所学的基础知识有哪些，还要了解这个专业的就业情况，以及专业的上升空间。最为重要的一点就是，自己是否适合这个专业! TESOL专业是文科硕士申请中选择最多的一个专业，下面是对TESOL的超强解析，希望给准备申请2017年留学加拿大的同学提供一个参考和借鉴。

TESOL是“Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages” 的缩写，中文翻译是“对外英语教学”，其主题是探讨英语教学的方法和理论，提升英语教学的师资水平。

1．申请背景要求

TESOL专业申请：学校要求申请者本科是教育相关专业，或者本科是语言相关专业，同时具备一定的语言教学工作经验。如英语专业、汉语言文学、外语语言文学、广播电视新闻学、英语社会学、历史学等。

2.推荐院校及院系设置

开设TESOL专业的学校有麦吉尔大学、英属哥伦比亚大学、多伦多大学、阿尔伯塔大学、卡尔加里大、渥太华大学、西安大略大学、曼尼托巴大学、西蒙菲莎大学、维多利亚大学、纪念大学、卡尔顿大学、约克大学、温莎大学、康考迪亚大学和布鲁克大学。

TESOL专业一般设置在教育学院下，单独开设或者是Education专业下面的分支，具体专业名称各校不尽相同；也有少数学校把该专业设置在应用语言学下面 (如康考迪亚、卡尔顿、布鲁克)，学生毕业后获得MA或者MED学位。

　　以下五所是加拿大教育专业最好的大学：

　　University of British Columbia 英属哥伦比亚大学

　　University of Toronto 多伦多大学

　　Western Ontario University 西安大略大学

　　Simon Fraser University 西蒙飞沙大学

　　University of Brock 布鲁克大学

3. MA、MED、MT、PHD、EDD的区别

（1）M.A全称Master of Arts是研究型硕士, 除了修课还有毕业论文。毕业论文一般要求100-150页原创论文，录取相对较难。M.A是为申请PH.D做准备的，而M.ED则侧重于就业相关的训练。换句话说M.A训练出来的并不完全是一个教师而更多的是一名研究人员，甚至你可以一点教学经验都没有，但是必须要有研究经验。而M.ED训练出来的是教师，毕业后可以去做教育相关的各种工作。MA录取难还有一个重要原因就是申请MA需要一个advisor也就是导师，而导师人数有限，学生人数很多。建议想申请MA的同学，先申请MED，然后在校内找一个好的老师帮助，再转成MA。

注：多伦多大学语言教学M.A目前不招收国际学生，想申请多伦多大学语言教学专业的学生，建议先申请MED，然后通过老师帮助再转到MA。

（2）M.ED全称Master of Education是授课型硕士, 只修满课程就可以毕业，不需要毕业论文。

（3）MT全称Master of Teaching, 只有多伦多大学开设这个专业，毕业可以直接申请教师资格证。

（4）PH.D全称Philosophic Doctor，哲学博士，一般毕业需要4-6年时间不等。

（5）ED.D全称Education Doctor, 教育学博士，要求申请者从事教育行业工作超过10年，不适合国内学生申请，加拿大本地人申请较多。

4．未来就业

TESOL专业留学生有着丰富的海外文化背景和专业学术背景，通晓最前沿的英语教育理论，具备颇为深厚的英语教学功底，因此成了教学和语言培训机构争相抢购的人才。许多同学毕业回国后，都担任高校、中小学英语老师、或者成为了培训机构的老师，成为教学的主要力量。总结归纳TESOL毕业生的就业方向大致有4类：教师、出版/报社、政府单位、新技术教育领域。

但是在英美加这些本身以英语为母语的国家发展空间并不大，因为所有的教师岗位都要求是native speaker。如果你的目的是想通过留学，最终获得移民身份，建议你申请加拿大的TESOL。一般1年制的课程毕业后，只能申请获得一年的工作签证，需要合法工作两年后才能申请经验类移民。安省是移民的不二选择，硕士毕业后，可以申请安省的PNP，获得省提名后再递交PR申请。

5．工作经验

要求教学工作经验对于TESOL申请有着非常重要的作用，各个学校对于申请者都有着1年到2年不等的工作经验的要求，为了在申请中占据更大的优势，建议学生积累2年及以上教学相关工作经验。

以UBC,多伦多大学，麦吉尔大学为例，UBC要求1-2年工作经验，教育工作经验不足者，一般不会录取。多大要求1年左右工作经验，没有工作经验也可以申请，但是有工作经验申请成功率更高。麦吉尔大学对教育工作经验没有太多要求。

6．语言要求

该专业的语言要求较高，学校不但有较高的语言总分要求，还有严格的单项分数要求，雅思建议7分以上单项不低于6.5分。

7.奖学金设置

众所周知，留学生申请奖学金是非常难的，因为每年向美国、加拿大大学递交申请材料的学生非常多，这对于某个为留学生设置了两三个奖学金名额的系来说，其竞争的激烈程度可想而知，对申请人的学习成绩、学习能力和英语水平要求较高。

奖学金一般只有一个学年，读硕士可延长1年，读博士可延长1至3年，但若1年后成绩平平，或不想继续攻读者，奖学金就不予延长。助教或助研津贴一般也有时间限制，为了给刚来的学士提供更多机会，往往鼓励原持有此项津贴的人让位，不予延长。

卡尔顿大学和多伦多大学第一年就会给奖学金，UBC和麦吉尔大学奖学金非常少，一般只发1-2名同学。博士项目，多伦多大学奖学金给4年。

8.各省费用

不同地区之间学费差距较大，安省、BC省院校学费总体偏高；纽芬兰纪念与拉布拉多省、萨省、曼省院校学费总体偏低；其他地区院校学校水平居中。留学加拿大，需要准备多少学费，要根据学生所选学校以及选择的课程类型而定。

最近咨询加拿大商科硕士的又攒了一大波，今天我们来扒的项目是一个不需要工作经验的硕士项目，此项目由著名商学院女王大学史密斯商学院提供，希望能帮助到大家。

Queen’s Master of International Business is a full-time program beginning each year in September. Available in single and double degree options, the curriculum covers issues ranging from the global economy to cross-cultural leadership. As a direct entry program, no previous work experience is required.

楼主13年冬季准备申请加拿大商科，14年初拿到offer, 14年九月来到了加拿大，现在给你们（尤其是那些拖延症还没有递出申请的你、对自己没有信心不敢申好学校的你、正在焦急等offer的你）一点点建议，算是说好的回馈CD。

先上广告，楼主现在在Queen's的MIB，强烈推荐这个项目。觉得再贵的学费都没有白花，班里的同学来自世界各地（欧洲的最多），中国人数量刚刚好——不会让你觉得多的没有出国，也不会少的让你寂寞（说实话QSB的中国人算是加拿大最少的了吧），项目非常紧凑，课程、老师质量很高，最重要的是，可以从身边的同学那里学到太多太多。20多年来，楼主第一次觉得自己受到了真正的教育。

再上背景，楼主本科211，双学位，第二学位是国贸，均分85（还是86来着？忘了。。。），雅思7.5，GMAT650，1个外资大公司的水实习（现在上课回过头来发现虽然当初工作的本质也不过打印复印发邮件盖章，可是冥冥之中其实了解了很多东西，只是还没有涉及过理论，所以觉得自己什么都不知道罢了），申请了5个学校，全部收到了面试，offer也收到了好几个。

现在楼主来澄清几个误区！！！
除了MBA，你可以申请的其他的商科项目：
(1) Queen's University, Master of International Business
(2) Ivey, MSc
(3) University of Toronto, Accounting & Management
(4) UBC, Master of Management
(5) UVic, Master of Global Business

简单普及一下，MSc，或者MM，或者MIB/ MGB，其实就是没有全职工作经验要求（但是有个实习总是好的）的MBA。但是这几个项目又各具特色，MSc更重理科，MM更像文科小女生的MBA，MIB/MGB是强调International的。

还有人问楼主，现在时间不够了，是应该刷GMAT呢，还是应该找实习呢？
楼主说说自己知道的实际情况。楼主GMAT也不高，可是还是拿到了所有牛校的面试。楼主只有一个实习，也还是拿到了所有学校的面试。而且据我了解很多本科在加拿大上的中国人，GMAT都考得很低，但名校都录了。所以说，能力是关键。比如怎么写essay，面试发挥（口语水平，思维，leader image），还有通过work experience所透露出的能力，是关键。

楼主建议大家，好好的看你想申请的business school的网站，你会发现每个学校、program都有自己的特色。而你要想清楚，你如何match这个program。申请是一个双向选择的过程，如果你看中了某个program，就要通过essay和面试，说服人家，你就是他要找的那个合适的人。

说说找工作的事情吧。

Queen's 是好学校，真的是非常好的教育体验，我所有的同学都这么说，后来加了下一届学弟学妹的微信，看他们在朋友圈晒在Queen's的日常，好像自己的生活又过了一遍。但是加拿大现在就业情况普遍不是很好，多伦多算是机会最多的了，但是还是有很多人花了很长的时间才找到工作。安省现在省提名政策优惠，如果是为了移民，不在乎underemployed，只在一个小start-up上班，或者加拿大某一个大银行做一个小职位，那来安省读书是一个很好的选择。而我也有很多同学回国了，在global leading的外企里面过的风风火火。说实话，楼主是一个喜欢快节奏生活、fast learner、有想法、干实事儿的人（最起码这么自诩。。。。），楼主后来也在国内做了一段时间的consulting，老板都还蛮喜欢楼主，所以这里想告诉大家的是，选择学校、去一个好学校只是第一步，而当你踏进学校甚至来加拿大之前，就应该为就业做准备了。尤其是如果你的master只有一年，真的要提早规划。

还是几个建议吧，分享给大家，希望后来人少走点弯路。
1. 想好你之后到底是想留在加拿大还是回国。这个问题你可以一直问自己，出国前、读书时，一直问自己，但是一定要提前有个答案，不要等到8月份要毕业的时候，再想到底去哪里找工作。你应该9月一入学就开始参加校招，无论是国内的还是加拿大的。

2. 选专业：general management或者international business，这种范范的专业，真的不好找工作（我指在加拿大。如果是回国的话，应该还挺不错的。国内现在你有能力就好，很多职位都不怎么看专业背景）。你要有硬本领。想想你本科的专业，再加上一个business的master，会让你在众多加拿大人和中国人中脱颖而出吗？楼主觉得比较好找工作的几个专业：computer science, 或者是有data analysis本领、比较quantitative的专业。

3. 英语口语好真的很重要。来加拿大之后多参加点活动，如果想找consulting之类的工作，就去参加学校的consulting club。英语好真的很重要，不能强调更多。

许多曾经热门过的专业现在早就已经趋向于饱和了。有些行业看似繁荣兴旺，实际上一个萝卜一个坑。只有当一个萝卜被拔出之后，才能有一个新的萝卜被填进去。有国内朋友问我，现在上大学到底应该报哪个专业？

在中国选专业不容易，在北美选专业其实也是个难题。尤其对于语言上不如本地长大西人的中国学生来说，到底选择什么专业更有竞争力？想要前景好，待遇高，还要就业面广，工作稳定，现在除了计算机科学这个一直被市场需求的大热门，貌似也只剩会计能够满足这样的条件了。

加拿大的留学生群体，尤其是选择滑大的留学生群体中，大多数人只看到了数学，计算机，和工程的优秀，偏偏忽略了，滑大的会计学，其实是加拿大所有顶尖大学中最优秀的学科之一。

滑大的会计方面的专业有Accounting and Financial Management（AFM），Computing and Financial Management（CFM），Mathematics/Chartered Professional Accountancy（Math/CPA），以及Biotechnology/Chartered Professional Accountancy（Biotech/CPA），它们全部属于滑大School of Accounting and Finance（SAF）。这四个专业各有千秋，但是毫无疑问，每一个都是最顶级的专业。

AFM是滑大最最主流的会计专业，也是人数最多的会计专业。AFM每年招收300名学生。申请的分数要求是mid 80s，差不多平均分85、86以上的学生都能够被录取。前置课程包括高三Advanced Functions，Calculus and Vectors，一门高三英语，以及其他三门高三课程。

听到这里很多人会问，既然录取条件偏低，似乎这个专业也不怎么样嘛。像Queen’s Commerce，Richard Ivey，Schulich，Rotman Commerce等商学院，哪一个门槛不比AFM高？但是门槛低不代表师生素质不高。就像滑大数学专业的门槛与AFM差不多，但是谁敢说学数学的牛人们不够大神？如果你非要认为它不好，好吧，对于这样一个“非高端”专业，等你拿到那高得吓人的学费单子，你会哭的。

上面只说了AFM的录取条件。CFM，Math/CPA，和Biotech/CPA的录取分数都是90+。Math/CPA与AFM的课程和方向类似，但是它是数学系最难进的专业。CFM每年只招收40人，Math/CPA50人，Biotech/CPA仅仅只有10人。

既然主页君这么推崇滑大会计学，它们到底都有哪些优点呢？

首先，滑大所有的会计专业都是co-op only，也就是说一旦被录取，学生可以，也必须在大学期间实习。这样的学生在毕业前就已经有一年多的工作经验，无疑在毕业后找工作时比其他大学没有co-op的学生更有优势。

在co-op学期之前的一个学期，学校会对学生开放校内co-op资源网络，帮助学生在学习的同时寻找实习的机会。除了CFM，其他三个专业在大学期间有4次co-op机会，每次时长一个学期，也就是4个月。通常有co-op的学生都是学习与实习相互交替，一般是一个学期学习，下个学期co-op，再下个学期学习。。。如此这般。在每次co-op开始之前的一个学期，学生会一边学习，一边投简历准备面试等等。

AFM，Math/CPA与Biotech/CPA第一个co-op在第二学年的第二学期（1月到4月）开始。然而，在这之前，第一学年第三学期有一个，也是大学期间唯一一个为期4个月的假期（欢呼吧，绝大多数co-op学生，包括CFM，大学期间完全没有假期）。为什么学校会给这些学生一个学期的假期，而不是让他们再多一次co-op机会呢？咳咳，这个问题我们私聊，私聊。。。但是，有假期不代表随便玩。尽量趁着有时间去找找工作，或是做一些对日后找工作有利的事情。第一次找实习工作是最艰难的。不仅学的东西不够全面，还要和高年级的学生竞争。所以推荐在那之前，尽可能的提高自己。

CFM总共有6个co-op。第一个co-op是第一年的第三学期开始。像CFM这样的专业在找co-op时可以申请与后面的co-op调换一下时间，一次co-op8个月。这里说一下，有些公司也许不想接受4个月的实习生，但是8个月就不一样了。这些公司很乐意签下8个月的contract，毕竟那么长时间可以让一名实习生多做很多事情了。如果想这样做，需要和co-op advisor商量。但是像Math/CPA，biotech/CPA就不行了。因为课程排不开，所以必须在规定的时间上课和co-op。

School of Accounting and Finance会专门为会计学生提供额外资源，比如只对会计专业学生开放的就业方面的讲座，四大会计事务所分别来滑大为会计学生举行的讨论会，甚至还有专门只对会计专业学生开放的招聘会。除此之外，还有各种写简历指导，经验分享，职业分析，面试指导，形象指导等等的活动。客观来说，SAF的活动的确搞的都不错（与数学系比起来的确是好一些，也更频繁。）。毕竟那么贵的学费也不是白交的。

AFM，Math/CPA，与Biotech/CPA本科带研究生一共读5年，相当于是5年本硕连读的专业。其中包括4次co-op在内4年本科，外加一个时长8个月的Master of Accounting（MAcc）program。这三个专业可以直接上研究生（MAcc）。对于选了这个专业的学生，当别人还在忙着申请读研的时候，你们可能已经硕士毕业了。当然，能不能读MAcc是有一些分数上的限制的。目前要求某一系列规定的课平均分必须在75分以上才能上MAcc。具体哪些课程入学后可以在学校网上查到，这里就不一一列举了。

AFM，Math/CPA，与Biotech/CPA都是加拿大注册会计师（CPA）方向。这三个专业的毕业生日后考的都是CPA。成为CPA（Chartered Professional Accountant）的要求包括要考过一系列的课程，拥有至少30个月的工作经历，以及最终考过一个叫做CFE（Common Final Examination）的考试。在校期间你会学到CPA必学的所有课程，拥有16个月的工作经验，只要毕业后工作1年多，再考过CFE就能成为一名高端的CPA了。相信我，来滑大读会计绝对是成为CPA的最快途径。

有些人可能要问，AFM，CFM，Math/CPA与Biotech/CPA都有什么区别？

AFM与Math/CPA是最相似的两个专业。不过AFM属于Arts系，Math/CPA属于数学系。Math/CPA要求的高中前置课程与AFM一样，但是录取要求高上一大截。Math/CPA有更多的数学课，编程课，比AFM难，比AFM分低，比AFM更难被录取，然后与AFM找一样的工作，考一样的证。是不是有点坑？其实Math/CPA比AFM高端，但是更多的人因为AFM招生数量多，只知道AFM，却不知道Math/CPA。在名声和宣传这一方面，滑大真的让我。什。么。话。都。不。想。说。

Biotech/CPA是一个专门为科学、医学、科技类公司的商业部门而准备的。Biotech/CPA属于科学系。除了会计学，Biotech/CPA还会学biology，biochemistry，biotechnology等方面的知识。这个专业的录取要求略高于Math/CPA。这是一个每年只招10名学生的专业。在我的理解中，这样的专业在找工作方面应该非常好找。它对高中前置课程的要求包括以下几门课：

CFM是一个数学系名下的非常特别的专业。之所以把它和会计学专业一起介绍，是因为它也同时属于School of Accounting and Finance。但实际上它与这篇文章中介绍的另外三个会计学专业有很大差别，包括以后就业方向也不一样。这个专业由School of Accounting and Finance与世界著名的David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science合作创立。虽然CFM的学生也会学不少会计方面的课程，但是更多的还是金融与计算机科学的结合。他们善于利用电脑技术更加有效的解决金融方面的问题。他们日后会进入金融领域工作。毕业后他们的方向不是CPA，而是特许金融分析师（Chartered Financial Analyst，CFA）。这是一个培养知识面广的领导者、指挥者的专业。我个人感觉，CFM比数学系Business Administration & Computer Science Double Degree更适合进入管理层。

不过，Math/CPA与Biotech/CPA只允许PR和持有公民身份的学生申请，因为一些原因，留学生没法选择这两个专业。AFM与CFM则是没有这样的限制。

之前说过滑大会计专业名气不大，其实只是在中国人眼里名气不大。很多大公司都知道滑大AFM学生能力强。至于Math/CPA，CFM，Biotech/CPA？好吧，因为规模的原因，他们在名声上的确弱上一筹。不过在co-op的时候不需要担心找不到工作，毕竟好专业就是好专业，真正优秀，有真才实学的人不怕找不到工作。曾经有一回滑大的晚会上，我与Head of Math and Business Department聊天时，聊到就业的问题，听他的语气似乎对Math/CPA非常推崇，他告诉我，其他的专业多多少少在第一次co-op时都会有点问题，AFM也会有些人找不到co-op，但是这么多年他几乎没有听到过有Math/CPA的学生提出过co-op时会找不到工作。Math/CPA是Math and Business，包括FARM，Double Degree，CFM等等在内，就业率最高的专业。

最后科普一下，为什么滑大的会计学名声不显。这个大学没有商学院，而一般商科强的大学都有。虽然滑大有SAF，但是只是单一的会计学，不能算商学院。每次论商学院排名的时候，滑大因为没有商学院，所以排不上名次。而没有排名，当然也就没什么名气。不是说滑大的商科不强，其实真正来到数学系之后就会明白，滑大的商科综合实力还是很强的，并不见得会比其他任何一个著名商学院弱。

加拿大整体的教育质量是很高的，所以学校间的差距没有很悬殊（相比国内以及其他国家）。而建筑专业，加拿大的教育部门为了保证市场质量是限制大学开设的。所以相对来说开设建筑相关本科项目的大学较少。

想了解加拿大的建筑师，建议在RAIC (Architecture Canada)上了解。

加拿大和美国是相互认证的，很多加本建筑的都去美国的名校读研。

总体上, 上述11所大学的建筑都很棒。其中有2所法语大学，部分大学如 UBC Carlgay Manitoba Dalhousie只开设了Mater of Architecture, 但是一般本科有Bachelor of Environment Design, 相当于硕士的预备课程。

剩下的几所各有各的特点。目前加拿大本地学生心目中的排名大概是McGill>Waterloo>Ryerson

U of McGill

McGill不管综排还是专排都是大牛校，地处风情独特的加拿大第二大城市Montreal。建筑学本科研究生常年第一，极其高冷，纯大陆背景很难申请。在美国的认可度极高。

建筑本科生大概60人，中国人有1~2个。

U of Waterloo

水卢一向以高质量的本科教育著名，建筑本科入学极其苛刻，研究生项目面向本校学生，如果要申请好像要提前申请一个预备项目……也好高冷

U of Ryerson

Ryerson近年排名猛增，地处Toronto downtown，多大隔壁，资源、师资强大，国际化氛围很浓，而且学校教育很严，很努力。

多伦多大学综排加拿大第1 or 2。建筑本科比较偏向文科研究，拿的学位是Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies。本科学习中研究理论和设计方法的部分较多，设计studio更多的在研究生项目。多大内部竞争很激烈，据说是大二要经过筛选。多大的优点也是地处多伦多市中心，而且和Gehry关系很好，经常能听到大牛讲座。研究生项目是王牌，本科项目的话看个人喜好，申请难度不是很大，宽进严出。

最强的项目是MLA，听说能和GSD和Upenn比肩？

U of Carleton

Carleton的建筑风格【极其极其极其】artsy，看网上的院刊各种酷炫，可以说把建筑当做一门艺术在教育。如果你是一个想象力丰富，富有艺术气质的话强烈推荐Carleon。 Carleon地处渥太华，风景优美安静，很适合学术。不过Carleon相比其他几所偏向内向的格局，许多老师也是自己学校出来的，前几年收到Azrieli先生的巨额捐款，不过好像暂时还没有动静，要不然会是一个很好的刺激更上一步。

其实对于很多过来人来说，明确告诉你，其实一点也不难。

他的所有要求其实无需那么严谨跟随，下面我会简单分析一下如何准备。

首先，我们需要准备一本草稿本，这个本子里面可以包含你的所有想法的草稿，过程，以及你可以粘贴各种各样能产生灵感的东西并写上一些评语，东西越丰富越好。

然后作品集的作品你可以包含1到2张较为写实的作品，以此来展示你很好的基础。

例如这样的

然后你可以画一两张你自己想象的东西，或者抽象的东西，你需要能解释你为什么要这样画。最好运用各种各样的材料，例如火，沙子啊或者各种各样你能想到的。

然后你可以有一些其他你自己做的小雕塑，或者各种好玩的东西，你都可以包含在自己的作品里面。

最后，我需要和大家讲清楚的一点，扯淡是作为一个ocad学生最重要的素质。所以，你想要申请，一定要会扯淡。

我来举一个例子，大家看下面这张图。

这只是一张普通的肖像画，里面有四个不同年龄段的人，用了不同颜色画了出来。有些人可能会觉得很丑，然而，看看我是怎么解释的。

这张画运用了水缓缓流逝的手法，运用不同颜色绘画除了不同年龄段的人。时光飞逝，从小孩到老人可能就是那一瞬间，正如这张画各个年龄段以融为一体了。这张画的创作目的是为了警醒人们珍惜时间。

是不是瞬间高大上了。。。。

艺术从来没有对错，只有你懂不懂说的让别人信服你做的确实是那么的独一无二，无与伦比。即使你没有很好的功底，很好的完成一件作品，但老师对于这件东西背后的故事，背后的想法会更感兴趣，所以，准备好遍一个个故事来打动老师便是你成功申请ocad的法宝。

最近，国际高等教育信息机构Quacquarelli Symonds(QS)发布了2017年世界最适合留学生的城市排行榜。

Economics and Accounting (BA)

Our Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting program is CPA-accredited and gives a career advantage to students looking to become an accountant. Unlike most programs in accounting, this one prepares you to understand business and government issues in a data-driven economy at the macro level. Economics courses will provide you with the technical background you’ll need to succeed in today’s marketplace, along with a high-level understanding of how businesses work. Your accounting courses will ensure you are ready to become an accountant, with courses that hone your practical skills.

Our Department of Economics, uniquely positioned alongside the Department of Business in the Lazaridis School and Business and Economics, allows you to combine your Economics degree with our CPA-accredited Accounting program. This is a direct-entry degree program that consists of 20 credits. Eight credits are economics courses and a minimum of 7.0 credits are business courses.

All of the major accounting firms hire our co-op students and graduates.

Students who complete this program are typically recruited into positions in Canada’s major accounting firms.

English Proficiency

[size=1em]Students attending Laurier must have excellent proficiency in the English language to benefit from university instruction presented in English.

[size=1em]If your first language is not English, you’ll be required to submit acceptable evidence of your English proficiency to our Recruitment and Admissions office. Normally, evidence of English proficiency may be an official transcript satisfactorily demonstrating a minimum of three years in an institution that teaches in the English language, or an acceptable score on one of the following tests (see exemptions below). You must make your own arrangements to write the test and have the results forwarded directly to our office. Please mail your proof of English proficiency to the address at the bottom of the page.

LEARN ENGLISH AT LAURIER

[size=1em]Students who do not meet our English language requirements can choose to pursue an intensive English as a Second Language (ESL) program offered by one of our education partners or our [url=]Laurier English and Academic Foundation[/url] (LEAF) program. We’ll provide conditional offers of admission to academically qualified students who are completing an English language certificate program at one of our ESL partners or through LEAF.

Internet-based testing: an overall score of 83 or higher with a minimum score of 20 in each component.
Paper-based testing: 560 or higher.
An overall score of 90 with a minimum of 20 in Reading and Listening, and a minimum of 25 in Speaking and Writing is required for double-degree programs with the University of Waterloo.

加拿大康考迪亚大学（Concordia University）又译名“康戈迪亚大学”、“肯高迪亚大学”、“肯考迪亚大学”。学校位于魁北克省(Quebec)，是一座省属公立大学。虽然于1974年建校，但是如果追溯学校历史，不可不谓悠久。康考迪亚大学（Concordia University）是由始建于1873年的Sir George Williams大学（乔治·威廉大学）和成立于1896年的Loyola大学合并而成，这么一算，也有100多年的历史了。

康考迪亚大学是一个两种语言和多种文化的大型城市大学，该大学的商业和管理学院教育在国际上享有盛名，被国际教育管理组织授予质量合格成员。
