Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for fast-paced expanding import and wholesale company. Responsible for greeting clients, answering telephone calls, handling daily mail, processing/receiving /shipping, faxing documents, filing, drafting and mailing correspondence/email, clerical support to Accounts Payable and Receivable, general office and administrative duties including Administrative Support to the President as required. 4 J3 N: F9 Q7 |9 `$ r* p/ @

DUTIES:
5 k' j# t4 J6 p4 v2 Y' Y5 s" _• Answer telephone calls and transfer to the appropriate person O3 C. }) R7 p- L
• Greet clients 0 m) _+ @- Q" b3 D* V' x/ q8 ]
• Handle daily incoming and outgoing mail
, Z) T: | C) o• Administer purchase order and accounts payable document cycles
2 U9 | O, `/ Y+ M4 W! U! v- l• Type and send letters/e-mail/correspondence/meeting notes
/ j8 k( j1 _" F m. c: Y% ?, G• Create spreadsheets, using Microsoft Excel, for client requirements or office administration requirements 6 s2 A+ X$ j6 w! S6 m
• Utilize the Internet to gather information pertaining to client and business projects
+ F( k3 J* n Y4 b, ^- C4 O/ t7 [: x• Generate customer invoices + r2 U/ H# K! X
• Follow-up on accounts receivable " ?+ e; f! K. ~" ~0 X
• Process bill payments
) w- X9 a) O( J- `0 Z• Entry-level bookkeeping functions
. G6 y6 P% P* ` {2 A• Office administration – ordering/organizing office supplies, etc. $ r7 d m8 e3 P

• Proficient with Microsoft Office software packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
& k Q3 U6 B& u5 `1 P' h• Knowledge of QuickBooks an asset ' }5 D V, Y S1 Q! C, o/ k0 g" o
• Entry-level bookkeeping knowledge and experience an asset 8 L b) o3 G* M" _, k0 `6 K
• Professional appearance and excellent phone manners
